Light as the breeze coming through barley
Shadow in her eyes, sunlight in her skin
Beauty such as this not seen from Dublin to Tralee
Not nearly as beautiful as Sophie is kind.
Albeit don´t be fooled by what you´re seeing,
There´s a swift wit, there´s warmth at the heart
There´s a lot more about this human being
A laughter that makes your heart skip a beat
She´s always excited to share her thoughts
About her everyday life, her views of the world
Be it that she´s happy, she´s angry or both.
she´s more than willing to put it in words
In doing so, she enriches the lives of ours
She constantly tugs at us to respond
